For the position of: Unit Director
As part of its efforts to strengthen its management structure and optimize the management of its operational units, [LNHC]The National Laboratory for Housing and Construction is inviting external applications for the position of:
UNIT MANAGER
Main responsibilities:
Reporting directly to Regional Management, the Unit Director's main responsibilities will be to:
- Ensure overall management of the unit in terms of technical, administrative, commercial, and financial ;
- Develop and monitor the unit's annual action plan;
- Oversee the research, investigation, and project activities assigned to the unit;
- Ensure the quality of services, compliance with contractual deadlines, and the profitability of operations;
- Ensure the proper management of the unit's human and material resources;
- Develop and maintain business relationships with institutional and private partners and clients;
- Ensure regular reporting to regional management on the unit's performance and results.
Required profile:
- Required degree: Engineer (Master's degree) in Geology, Public Works, Geotechnics, or Civil Engineering;
- Professional experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Project Manager or Technical Manager in the field of geotechnical studies or civil engineering;
- Required skills:
- Mastery of technical aspects related to geotechnical studies and investigations;
- Good knowledge of a company's commercial and financial processes;
- Strong managerial skills and excellent organizational abilities;
- Ability to make decisions and lead multidisciplinary teams;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership and communication skills.
a previous experience in a geotechnical services company is a major asset.
