The L.N.H.C. carries out all the geophysical tests necessary for geotechnical engineering, which enable:
- Streamline the Recognition Program
- Determine the dynamic characteristics of the soil
- Seismic wave propagation velocities
- Detect anomalies in the subsoil (cavities, groundwater, hard passages)
- Determine soil resistivity
- Classify the site according to Algerian seismic resistance (RPA 99)
