In order to ensure the sustainability of measurement standards, the LNHC group has created a “Metrology” department. The services provided by this department are carried out by experienced metrology engineers and technicians. The LNHC has its own standards, enabling it to periodically verify and calibrate all of its equipment and measuring instruments.
The LNHC also provides metrology services to third parties.
This service has a range of working standards, connected at regular intervals, including:
Weight and Mass:
A series of weights ranging from 1 mg to 20 kg, for calibrating scales up to 70 kg.
Pressure:
Three pressure sensors rated at 10, 50, and 200 bar with a pressure generator for calibrating pressure gauges.
Screen series:
Series of sieves compliant with standard NF P 11-504, for sieve calibration.
Strength:
A 1500 KN SENSY force standard for calibrating concrete presses.
Temperature (ovens):
A temperature calibration chain consisting of a Pt100 probe and a readout indicator, for calibrating ovens.
Température (thermomètres) :
Une chaîne d’étalonnage de température composée d’une sonde Pt100, d’un indicateur de lecture et d’un bain LAUDA, pour l’étalonnage des thermomètres.
Gauge blocks:
Calibration blocks of 10, 20, 50, and 100 mm, for calibrating calipers.
